Automated Drilling & CNC Processing

Evans Metal Products utilizes automated drilling and CNC processing to support accurate, repeatable hole processing for structural steel and fabricated components. The HEBO RBV 12 SV automatic drilling system supports precise layout, alignment, and material preparation prior to welding and assembly, improving fit‑up accuracy and consistency across fabricated assemblies.

Precision Plasma Cutting

Evans Metal Products provides high‑definition precision plasma cutting for plates, channels, angles, and tube materials, supporting fabrication across carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty materials. This capability delivers accurate, repeatable cuts and efficient part preparation, supporting downstream welding, assembly, and fit‑up with minimal cleanup prior to fabrication and finishing.

3D Laser Scanning & Field Verification

Evans Metal Products provides on‑site 3D laser scanning and field verification using Trimble BLK360 technology to support accurate as‑built measurements, scan‑to‑model coordination, and fabrication accuracy. This capability is used to verify existing conditions, coordinate complex geometry, and reduce errors caused by field discrepancies, supporting quality control, construction verification, and reliable fit‑up prior to fabrication and installation.

Stairs & Ladders

Evans Metal Products fabricates custom stair and ladder systems supporting vertical circulation, equipment access, and complex architectural requirements across industrial, commercial, and institutional projects. Fabrication includes interior and exterior metal stair systems, industrial access stairs, platforms, equipment stair systems, alternating step ladders, and fixed ladders, with assemblies coordinated to structural steel framing and field conditions.

Helical and curved stair fabrication is a core capability, supporting projects where geometry, tolerance control, and visual continuity are critical to both function and design. Work includes segmented and continuous radius construction, requiring advanced layout, forming, and fabrication coordination to achieve consistent fit‑up and finished appearance.

Railing Systems

Evans Metal Products fabricates architectural and industrial railing systems for fall protection, pedestrian control, and edge definition across commercial, institutional, and public environments. Railing fabrication supports both interior and exterior guardrail and handrail systems, including straight and curved railing runs, tube and pipe bending, decorative and architectural assemblies, and laser‑cut steel infill panels. Fabrication also includes coordinated steel coping and cap elements integrated with railings, walls, and parapet conditions, with systems coordinated to finishes and materials to support durable edge conditions and consistent visual continuity across completed spaces.

Welding, Assembly & Finishing

In‑house welding, assembly, and fit‑up support both structural and non‑structural fabrication, with coordinated processes maintaining dimensional accuracy, surface preparation, and finish readiness across carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum components. Where specified, finishing coordination can include polishing, stainless steel passivation, and post‑forming refinement prior to coating, delivery, or installation.

IN‑HOUSE TOOLING & FABRICATION SUPPORT SYSTEMS

Evans Metal Products designs and fabricates custom in‑house tooling and support equipment to accommodate complex fabrication requirements, large assemblies, and non‑standard geometry. These shop‑built systems support controlled handling, staging, and positioning of fabricated components throughout the fabrication process.

In‑house support equipment, including material handling carts, custom fixtures, and beam‑line support systems, enables the fabrication of large structural members, curved components, and multi‑piece assemblies that require precise alignment and repeatable accuracy prior to delivery.
